Talmorhan, God of the Broken (LG)

Protection, Light, Law, Good. Fair Haired and blue eyed. Many believe he is an Aasimar, turned against his parentage. Talmorhan gathers about him any that feel broken or dismissed, cast away by society. He wears white robes with gold trim and brightly polished silver pauldrons. Favored Weapon: Morning Star

Followers of Talmorhan
These people see good in all the races, whether they are of the Noble Races, the Created, or the so called Tainted. The strive to make the broken landscape of Palaghast a more peaceful one, removed from the stigma of who is better than who. Chiefly, they lay this complaint at the feet of the Solar, who they see as subjugators and tyrants.
Despite the hatred the group receives from staunch supporters of the Eight, they always strive to do good in the world. Their main focus is helping the less fortunate, often giving up their own wealth if it can be beneficial to someone in need. Poverty is nearly a virtue amongst the most ardent of followers. They despise seeing the strong prey on the weak, and will defend the lesser with violence if need be. Currently they have placed a great deal of their focus on seeing the Abyssal Touched free of their lot in life.

At 1st level you gain proficiency with martial weapons.
Channel Divinity: Shield of the Protector
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to protect your allies. As a reaction or bonus action you can place a protective aura around one ally you can see within 60 ft. The next attack on that ally has disadvantage. At 6th level this increases to two allies, and up to three at 8th level.
Starting at 6th level, 1/day you can cast shield on an ally you can see within 30 ft as a reaction. You must have the spell prepared. This resets after a long rest.
Starting at 8th level, you have become a stalwart defender. As a reaction, when an ally within 5 ft. is about to take damage, you may swap places with them. Use your AC when determining if you take damage.
Master of Protection
Starting at 17th level, you have become the true embodiment of protecting those around you. While conscious you exude an aura of protective energy. All allies within 10 ft. of you gain a +2 to their AC and become resistant to bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage.
